Kenmode Adds to Engineering and Sales Management Team
Algonquin, IL (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- Kenmode Precision Metal Stamping has added two senior managers to its staff. Harry Dickerson has joined Kenmode as Vice President of Engineering and Kurt Meissner as Sales Manager/Key Accounts.
“Kenmode is expanding, and we are pleased to add two seasoned manufacturing managers to our team,” said Kurt Moders, president of Kenmode. “Harry Dickerson will help lead the continued growth of our engineering capabilities, while Kurt Meissner will work with our sales force to enhance our client service and expand into new markets.”
Harry Dickerson will be overseeing Kenmode’s tool design and build program and all engineering functions. Prior to joining Kenmode, he operated his own engineering firm, working with clients in the automotive, medical device and telecommunications industries. Earlier, he was Engineering Manager for Accellent, Inc., where he provided engineering leadership for precision machining of medical devices, including a new biopsy needle. At ATF Integrated Components, Dickerson managed the Design and Manufacturing Engineering Department and set up a facility to manufacture safety-critical products for the automotive market. As Engineering Manager of Southco, Inc., he established a new facility for high-speed manufacturing processes. His work has garnered six patents in design, process and utility applications.
Dickerson graduated from Spring Garden College with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology. He has pursued further studies in engineering management at Drexel University and lean manufacturing with the University of Michigan. He has earned the designation of Professional Engineer and is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Kurt Meissner is Sales Manager/Key Accounts, responsible for managing Kenmode’s major accounts and sales network. He has extensive experience in serving major manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace and defense industries, nationally and globally. As Senior Account Manager for Tella Tool and Manufacturing Co., he helped the company expand its metal stamping business in its Illinois and Texas facilities. Earlier, he was Senior Account Manager for Principle Manufacturing Corporation, where he led the reorganization of its sales force. For more than a decade, he was Account Manager for IMS Buhrke-Olson, where he expanded the company’s sales with major accounts and acquired new clients, launched new products, and assisted in the start-up of a facility in Mexico. While there, he served leading automotive companies and their suppliers.
Meissner received a bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in economics from Northwestern University. His post-graduate training has included sales and management courses from the University of Wisconsin and manufacturing courses from industry organizations.
