Lake Meridian Chiropractic Announces that Dr. Lisa Kim Has Joined the Clinic’s Kent, WA Healthcare Team
Kent, WA (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Kent, WA Chiropractor Danene Saggau and the team at Lake Meridian Chiropractic are pleased to announce that a new doctor has recently joined the 20-year-old practice. Dr. Lisa Kim brings to the clinic a truly unique combination of educational, professional and personal experiences that will translate into superior healthcare for her patients. Dr. Kim graduated Magnum Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she received several Academic Excellence Awards. While at Palmer, she focused on the Atlas Orthogonal (AO) Chiropractic Technique. In search of the best technical training and hands-on experience available, she did her internship in Atlanta, Georgia at the Sweat Institute for Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic, working with Dr. Roy Sweat, the program’s developer and founder of the Institute. Dr. Kim is currently in the process of obtaining her AO Board Certification.
Dr. Lisa Kim moved to Canada with her family when she was about 6 years old and is a fluent speaker of both English and Korean. As a child, she took an early and active interest in healthcare. After watching her mother find relief from years of chronic back pain following just three months of chiropractic care, she decided to study chiropractic medicine herself. So did her sister. “My mother had had two back surgeries and multiple rounds of prescription drug treatments. Until I saw what chiropractic care could achieve, I just thought there was no effective treatment for low back pain.”
Dr. Kim is looking forward to working with patients at Lake Meridian Chiropractic. She has wanted to live in the Pacific Northwest, and the practice is one of very few in this part of the country that offers specialized Atlas Orthogonal (AO) treatment to its patients. At Lake Meridian Chiropractic, she is thrilled to have found a place where she can apply her AO training to make a positive difference in her patients’ lives.
