InScribe, which delivers game-changing digital community solutions, today announced a partnership with Kentucky State University (KSU) to create more opportunities for students to engage and access information online. More than 2,000 students at this public historically black university now have a simple way to connect with the answers, resources, and people they need to succeed in college and beyond.
“Providing students with easy to navigate, timely information and guidance is an essential part of student success," said Dr. M. Christopher Brown II, Eighteenth President, Kentucky State University. "InScribe gives our students a network of support that they can rely on and it enhances our ability to communicate and interact with them. Students can meet others with similar stories, work together academically, and obtain the information they need to carry them through their educational journey."
InScribe expands the walls of the digital classroom, integrating into the places that students already go - the school website, portal, and LMS. KSU students now have a centralized place to turn when they need help or just want to connect with classmates, faculty, and other school experts. KSU’s new digital communities give students a voice, empowering them to contribute in a meaningful way while also connecting anytime, anywhere.
Information gathered in the community forms a living knowledge repository that is always growing and stays aligned with the topics that students really care about. Future students can search the community, putting a wealth of advice, content, and solutions at their fingertips. At the same time, InScribe helps KSU faculty and staff communicate more effectively and saves them time by removing the need to answer the same questions over and over again.
"It's critical that students are able to connect and establish a sense of belonging with their peers and their institution,” said InScribe Co-founder and CEO, Katy Kappler. "Kentucky State University has a rich community tradition and we look forward to helping them enhance the student and faculty experience, bringing that same interaction and relationship building to a digital space.”
InScribe is a digital student support platform that leverages the power of community and artificial intelligence to connect students with the answers, resources, and individuals they need to succeed. InScribe's digital communities cut across the traditional support silos in higher education, giving students a single place to turn when they need help—no matter the topic or time of day. Students benefit from on-demand, peer-to-peer, and student-to-expert collaboration that helps them feel more connected, increasing student engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
