Dr. Kalyam has a heart to help patients with facial reconstructive surgery – especially after accidents and trauma.
DALLAS (PRWEB) August 15, 2018
Award-winning Key-Whitman Eye Center announces the addition of Priya Kalyam, M.D., specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive oculofacial plastic surgery. Dr. Kalyam is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is experienced in all areas of general ophthalmology and has advanced training in eyelid, orbit, tear duct system and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
“Our patients turn to us as their trusted doctors for comprehensive eye care,” says Jeffrey Whitman, M.D., president and chief surgeon at Key-Whitman Eye Center. “We’ve been providing Botox treatments for years but patients regularly ask us for additional facial cosmetic surgery services. With Dr. Kalyam joining us, we can now offer an extraordinary level of expertise for eyelids, brow lifts, resurfacing, facial tag and facial hair removal, fillers, and more. In addition to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Kalyam has a heart to help patients with facial reconstructive surgery – especially after accidents and trauma.”
Dr. Kalyam earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and graduated in the top five percent of her class at Rutgers School of Engineering in New Brunswick, N.J. She was a Dean’s Scholar Student and earned her Doctor of Medicine at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, N.J. She continued her education at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pa. where she was selected Transitional Resident of the Year. She completed her Residency in Ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine and she completed a two-year Fellowship with the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) at the prestigious Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
“I enjoy helping patients to maintain their youthful appearance and vitality because it makes a big impact on their personal and professional confidence,” says Dr. Kalyam. “My desire is to discuss what’s possible with patients in rejuvenating droopy eye lids, decreasing eyelid puffiness and bags, along with wrinkles around the eyes and foreheads. I have worked closely with dermatologists who treat skin cancer around the eyes, as well as trauma units to support patients with facial reconstructive surgery.”
To introduce Dr. Kalyam to patients, Key-Whitman is offering complimentary consultations through August 31, 2018. To make an appointment or learn more about Key-Whitman’s cosmetic surgery services, call 855.600.7296 or visit Key-Whitman’s website.
