WEYMOUTH, Mass., Feb. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- From virtual receptionists and 'co-bots' to artificial intelligence and robotic process automation, it's clear that the traditional office environment is evolving into an advanced ecosystem for leading-edge technologies to better streamline how work gets done. But what is less clear is which vendors will lead this transformation. To help OEMs, developers, service providers and resellers in both strategy and marketing groups understand the trends, Keypoint Intelligence – InfoTrends announces the availability of its latest study, The Smart Workplace.
This exclusive study polled 400 IT decision-makers across all business sizes and segments to ascertain the Smart Workplace technologies they are most likely to invest in, the type of vendors they would most likely buy from, the barriers they perceive to adopting these next-gen products, and more. Respondents were asked their attitudes toward—and likelihood of investing in—future-looking products such as next-level security solutions, unified communication and collaboration products, data analytics and process automation services, and others.
"Significant technology shifts will bring about immense change for traditional office technology providers," noted Randy Dazo, Group Director, Office Technology & Services at Keypoint Intelligence-InfoTrends. "How traditional office equipment vendors will be positioned for this revolution and the possible deluge of new players is an open question. Our study will help vendors understand key trends and demographic influences, and identify major opportunities for technology and services within key vertical industries and business processes."
From this research, InfoTrends found that the outlook for smart technologies is very favorable, with respondents citing time savings, reduced errors, expedited business processes, and cost savings as likely reasons for adopting the innovative solutions. Moreover, the study includes hundreds of data points that drill into the specific areas ripe for investment, and where IT decision-makers are likely to spend their precious budgets.
