Kiara Rand of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Chosen to Represent Parkland at Miss Florida Teen USA® Competition
Miss Parkland Teen USA is a standout student, captain of the track team, and active participant in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Student of the Year program.
PARKLAND, Fla., August 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kiara Rand of Parkland will represent her city in the Miss Florida Teen USA® Competition in November as Miss Parkland Teen USA. Rand was selected based upon her academic standing, involvement in the community, passion for the pursuit of excellence and interest in empowering other young women to follow in her footsteps.
Rand, who is entering her senior year at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, is captain of the school's Track and Field Team. Rand is also participating in the Student of the Year program benefiting Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's South Florida Chapter in memory of her late mother Lauren.

The Executive State Directors, the Chrisley Family, will conduct the Sunshine State's oldest and most celebrated competition this November 8-11 to qualify two young ladies to advance to either Miss Teen USA or to Miss USA, and ultimately Miss Universe.
