Kickboxing Fitness Lifestyle Arrives in Frederick with New Studio Opening

FREDERICK, Md., August 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Local entrepreneurs and longtime fitness enthusiasts Jennifer and Scott Grams have brought the national phenomenon iLoveKickboxing to Frederick, Maryland with the opening of a new studio. Offering a deeply supportive experience for both women and men to reach weight loss and fitness goals, the iLoveKickboxing franchise hosted Frederick Mayor Michael O'Connor at a "smoothie party" yesterday to help launch the business. Once fully operational, the new studio is expected to employ up to 10 people, including full-time and part-time workers.

"This is a great new business to add to our community," said Mayor O'Connor. "It promotes a healthy lifestyle and it adds jobs to our economy. When I put on boxing gloves today to try it, I could tell it's just a fun way to burn calories and stay in shape."

Located at 1170 W. Patrick St., the new studio offers a friendly, motivating atmosphere for adults. Designed for small groups, each workout is a well-balanced mix of cardio and resistance training.

"Participants wear authentic boxing gloves and learn to perform genuine kickboxing techniques," said Bri Hill, the Frederick studio's new manager. "They also master conditioning drills on heavy bags."

"We customize our approach for people of all levels, including beginners," said co-owner Scott Grams. "It's just an incredible workout."

The Frederick studio is the second of three iLoveKickboxing locations in Maryland that Jennifer and Scott Grams have planned. Their first studio opened in Linthicum, Md. in 2017. Healthy living coach Joy Cortina of Arbonne International provided the grand opening's smoothies.
