New Kids' Art Gallery, Mexican Toys Workshop & Bubble Bath Menu with Mexican Ingredients at Grand Velas Riviera Maya
Designed to inspire kids to creatively explore and experience local art, Grand Velas Riviera Maya will be offering a new Kids' Art Gallery as well as Mexican Toys Workshop. During the former, kids will paint using brilliant colors and shapes in nature inspired by the masterpieces of the famous Frida Kahlo. In the later, little ones will spend time brightening up small wooden toys such as trucks and planes with brilliant colors. They'll get to know traditional toys from the Mexican culture like the balero (a wooden barrel-shaped toy in which one tries to catch an attached stick) and trompo (spinning top). The resort is also now offering a new Bubble Bath Menu for an additional cost with delicious-looking ice cream soap bombs full of favorite Mexican flavors, like mango, strawberry hibiscus, dragon fruit, lemon and grape.
Play Your Way to Ice Cream at Grand Velas Los Cabos
At Grand Velas Los Cabos, new activities for summer range from a slime workshop where kids can learn to make it and decorate it with glitter to tie-dying. Another fun highlight is making soft serve in an Ice Cream ball. Kids can add their favorite ingredients and then shake, roll, and play with the ball until it turns into ice cream.
Lion King-Themed Oceanfront Spa Cabana for Kids at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit
In honor of the films a photorealistic computer animated remake debuting this summer, a Lion King-themed spa booth will be set up on the beach at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. For kids ages 3 - 12 years old, offerings include a relaxing Princess Massage, Tarzan & Jane Massage that increases child mobility with a foulard of "Jane-sque" animal print silk, and a Flower Shower Massage that has the child showered with petals from local flowers including bougainvillea and hibiscus. The 25-minute treatments cost $60 USD. Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit will also be offering its Alebrijes Workshop that immerses its youngest guests in the legends and folk art of Mexico. Kids visiting can create their own spirit animal, like Pepita, the colorful beast that was part jaguar, eagle and lizard in the film "Coco."

At Velas Vallarta, activities for kids range from tennis clinics and cooking classes to human foosball on the beach and Behind-the-Scene Eco Tours.
