A group of children are taking climate change action into their own hands, and the hands of readers. With the help of local J. R. Goodman, they've produced a hot-selling book on climate change and are donating the funds to WWF's Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund to assist in the fight against Australia's bushfires.

The book's sales have gone beyond our wildest dreams. Who would have thought kindergarten kids could make such an impact on climate change?"

A group of children in Australia sparked the idea for a local man to take climate change action into his own hands, or put it into the hands of readers, so to speak. Together, they've produced a hot-selling book on climate change, without any words inside.

A group of local children in Australia were fed up with low returns from their kindergarten sausage sizzles and cake stall fundraisers for the Australian bushfire response so decided to try something different. According to the author, J. R. Goodman: “One of the children suggested we produce a book to sell, and joked that they could make the cover 'so cool' that people wanted to open it but that we leave the insides open for drawing or writing. Space for scribbling was top-of-mind for this young girl. We're all understandably fairly hot on climate justice right now, with the horrific bushfires currently ravaging the forests of Australia, so this was top of mind for me also.”

With the help of the children, the author came up with a book titled 'All the Reasons Climate Change Isn't Real.' The inside of the book is empty, aside from the introduction: 'What follows is all the scientific evidence that climate change isn’t real….'

Their confronting book hit a nerve in the midst of the tragic Australian bushfire, and had their community lining up to purchase copies. The proceeds of the sales are being donated to WWF's Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund.

Mr. Goodman said the book's sales had gone beyond their wildest dreams and that it looked likely to carry on as the book has just started being distributed by Amazon.
