In conjunction with the transaction, The Stephens Group formed a new company, Catalyst Acoustics Group ("Catalyst Acoustics"), which will serve as a platform for an elite group of acoustic, seismic, vibration and noise control companies that together offer the broadest portfolio of noise control solutions in the market. Catalyst Acoustics will house The Stephens Group's growing family of noise control solutions providers, which in addition to Kinetics includes IAC Acoustics, Sound Seal, Noise Barriers and Lamvin. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
