Kintone Recognized in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 19, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kintone, the teamwork platform with a visual application builder that boosts collaboration, has been recognized in Gartner's 2020 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Low-Code Application Platforms* (LCAP). This is the fifth consecutive year Gartner has recognized Kintone in its LCAP vendor assessment report, and Kintone was one of 18 vendors profiled.

Gartner defines LCAPs as "an application platform that supports rapid application development, deployment, execution, and management using declarative, high-level programming abstractions such as model-driven and metadata-based programming languages, and one-step deployments. LCAPs provide and support user interfaces, business processes, and data services."

According to Gartner, "Enterprise low-code application platforms deliver high-productivity and multifunction capabilities across central, departmental and citizen IT functions." The firm notes that "the vendors of low-code application platforms (LCAPs) have been improving the ease at which business applications can be delivered, providing broader capabilities requiring smaller and less specialized teams of developers."
