KIPP and other National Charter Schools Partner with Elevate K-12 to Launch Live Teaching to Solve Their Teacher Shortages
The new partnerships are designed to provide live teaching to students in different class content areas while eliminating the effects of the teacher shortage crisis.
CHICAGO, Dec. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Elevate K-12, the Chicago-based instruction-technology company that brings high-quality live streaming instruction into K-12 classrooms, has announced new partnerships with KIPP Memphis and multiple national charter schools in order to solve the teacher shortage crisis and provide quality education to students.
Some of the charter schools that Elevate K-12 has partnered with are KIPP Memphis, Milwaukee Excellence Charter School, Uplift Education, Strive Prep, Leona Group, Democracy Prep and many more. The charter schools are using Elevate K-12 for filling vacancies in classes like Algebra, Geometry, Spanish, Science and many more.
Shaily Baranwal, Elevate K-12's Founder and CEO said, "We started seeing several charter school networks facing the same issues that public schools experience including challenges in staffing classes with teachers. We launched a specific growth strategy to assist the charter school networks and we are seeing rapid adoption of our live streaming services across national charter schools".
Elevate K-12 brings passionate, engaging live teachers to stream into classrooms that need them most. Elevate K-12's tech-enabled services include its proprietary live instructional management technology, Elevate Live®, a live instruction service, curriculum and classroom management platform that provides the necessary tools for collaborative teaching and learning to emulate the experience of a real, physical classroom.
"The biggest reason for starting the company was to make sure that no child has to sit in front of a computer and self-teach themselves," said Baranwal. "These kids were sitting in classrooms without a teacher, teaching themselves, and we said, 'hey, let's change the way classrooms and schools work so that we can stream these teachers straight into the classroom.' Right now, 100% of the students we serve are low-income. So if it's a charter school, the chances of those kids being low-income are high. So the partnership with KIPP, Uplift and other charters is a great fit."
Elevate K-12 has plans to expand to all national charter school networks in the course of this and next school year to assist in solving their teacher shortages to bring high quality live teaching into their classrooms
