Knife Barrier for Blood Blister and Callus Prevention Invented by InventHelp Client (OCC-1179)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) January 09, 2017 -- One of the less obvious risks of food preparation that involves knife work is the formation of blood blisters and calluses. Although the average home cook does not use kitchen knives frequently enough to experience such side effects, commercial kitchen employees know first hand the hassle of calluses and blood blisters.
An inventor from Mission Viejo, Calif., has invented KNIFE RAPP, an accessory that attaches to any knife and helps protect the user's hands and fingers. "I was inspired by my line of work as a executive chef," said the inventor. "I would often get blood blisters and calluses while prepping food and wanted to invent a device that would prevent that." KNIFE RAPP not only improves safety conditions in the kitchen, it also helps to keep conditions clean and sanitary.
This invention would appeal to both commercial chefs and home cooks.
