New KnowBe4 SecurityCoach integrates with CylancePROTECT Endpoint Protection Platform to reduce cyber risk
TAMPA BAY, Fla., Feb. 16, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- KnowBe4, the provider of the world's largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, today announced its new SecurityCoach product now integrates with BlackBerry's CylancePROTECT® Endpoint Protection Platform to cut down on risky security behavior and reduce cyber risk.
SecurityCoach analyzes potential cybersecurity threats through a company's existing security products and alerts users. For example, if a user opens an infected email attachment that could spread ransomware, or tries to visit a website with restricted content, a company's security products detect this activity and create an event alert. SecurityCoach identifies these events, and then, through Microsoft Teams, Slack or email, sends a real-time SecurityTip to that user explaining why their actions are a security risk.
SecurityCoach uses CylancePROTECT's Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to integrate with an organization's existing security products quickly and easily. This collaboration will help reduce the burden on security teams by decreasing alert noise caused by repetitive risky security behaviors and reduce risk while building a mature security culture in less time.
"BlackBerry joins our ecosystem of technology partners, which is growing rapidly, to enrich the support we provide to our customers and to fortify their organization's human firewall," said Stu Sjouwerman, CEO, KnowBe4. "KnowBe4 is proud to partner with BlackBerry to provide a seamless integration with our new SecurityCoach product, which aims to deliver real-time security coaching and advice to help end users enhance their cybersecurity knowledge and strengthen their role in contributing to a strong security culture."
"Our partnership with KnowBe4 is unlocking new value for our mutual customers and their investment in CylancePROTECT," said Alex Willis, Vice President, Sales Engineering and ISV Partners at BlackBerry. "This integration will help deliver real-time coaching to users in response to their security errors, while reducing the volume of alert noise for security teams already strapped in an ever-evolving threat landscape."
KnowBe4's partnership with BlackBerry is a strong example of how providers can work together to provide mutual customers with tools that save security teams time and effort. KnowBe4 will provide step-by-step instructions and recommendations to help IT/security professionals achieve quick and pain-free integration and data syncing during the implementation process.
KnowBe4 now integrates or partners with over 20 of the world's top cybersecurity platforms across Endpoint, Network, Identity, Cloud and Data Security. For more information on SecurityCoach, visit http://www.knowbe4.com/securitycoach.
