KOAMTAC Expands SmartSled Data Collection and Charging Solutions to the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5
The SKX5™ SmartSled® is the newest entry to the SKX family of integrated sled-style data collectors from KOAMTAC. The SKX5, designed for the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, enhances the XCover with barcode scanning, RFID reading, mobile Point-of-Sale, and Charging Cradles.

The SKX5 is a compact and powerful SmartSled scanning solution specifically engineered for the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5. With fast and reliable barcode scanning abilities, companion and accessory availability, a rugged IP65 design, and excellent development tools, the SKX5 is the perfect tool for all data collecting needs.
Utilizing the same modular platform as the trusted SKXPro SmartSled, the SKX5 provides the best barcode scanning experience for your XCover 5. The SKX5 features a fully integrated case that houses a Honeywell N3601 2D imager scan engine that reads all major barcode symbologies. Barcode scanning is quickly triggered by pressing either of the conveniently placed scan buttons on each side of the device. The XCover 5 is held securely in place by the case and data is seamlessly transferred to the Galaxy XCover 5 via OTG.
KOAMTAC offers charging cradles to quickly charge your team's devices. The 1-Slot and 5-Slot Charging Cradles support 15W fast charging and deliver power via pogo pins, allowing the user to charge the XCover 5 without removing it from the SKX5 sled. KOAMTAC SKX5 Charging Cradles simultaneously charge Galaxy XCover 5 smartphones and 2,000MAH Extended Batteries, in 1-slot or 5-slot configurations. Other SKX Cradles are available for 1.0W UHF and Pistol Grip SmartSled companions.

Lastly, process mag stripe or IC cards with the SLED-MSRIC companion or PCI/EMV payment cards with the Sled-mPOS companion.
KOAMTAC also offers individual and enterprise-level charging solutions for power on-the-go. The XCover 5 Charging Cradles will safely charge any size fleet of mobile phones and include slots for charging spare XCover 5 batteries. The cradles also support 15W Adaptive Fast Charging and are equipped with a time-out feature to protect the battery life's longevity.
Dedicated XCover 5 battery charging stations are also available in 4-slot or 20-slot configurations.
