Kohler to be Exclusive Engine Supplier for 2023-26 Baja SAE® Competition Seasons
WARRENDALE, Pa., Oct. 20, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- SAE International and Kohler are pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement to feature Kohler Engines as the exclusive engine supplier for the 2023-2026 Baja SAE Series competition seasons.
Baja SAE® challenges teams of college engineering students to design and build a prototype of an all-weather, rugged, single-seat, off-road recreational vehicle that will survive the severe punishment of rough terrain. These student teams work together to discover and resolve technical challenges in designing, manufacturing, and testing their vehicle, while managing real-life business issues, demands and priorities.
Kohler Engines will provide its Command Pro® CH440 engine at a discounted price to all Baja SAE Teams, as well as CAD drawings and 3D shell models. In addition, engineers, marketing, sales, and HR executives from Kohler Engines will be on site during competitions to support teams and the event, as well as participate in the technical engine check process and offer career advice
