Kono Kogs Expands Manufacturing and Storage Space with New Warehouse Purchase
Industry-leading thermal oxidizer supplier, Kono Kogs, purchases 28,000-square-foot warehouse across the street from their current location for additional manufacturing and storage space.
GREEN BAY, Wis., Oct. 13, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Business is booming for Kono Kogs' air pollution control systems. The company plans to use the recently purchased space for metal fabrication of components and for storage and refurbishment of their purchased oxidizers. Rebuilding and repairing existing oxidizers with more capacity and updated controls is a cost-effective solution for many of Kono Kogs' customers.
Kono Kogs has recently begun manufacturing their own ductwork and process T-dampers so the added capacity will play a major role in this new endeavor. Their oxidizer experts will also be refurbishing, painting and assembling oxidizers in the new space which adds to their current 63,000-square-feet of operational space. Additional space will be used to store other products used in thermal oxidizer rebuilds including ceramic media, fans, and heat exchangers.
The new warehouse space also houses a 15-ton—and two 10-ton—overhead cranes, and a paint booth so they are equipped to handle any oxidizer rebuild or upgrade that comes their way.
Insulation repair, fan rebuilds, controls upgrades, catalyst and media replacements, and structural and corrosion repair are just a sample of the repairs and upgrades the Kono Kogs team performs. These repairs and upgrades are done on existing recuperative thermal oxidizers, catalytic oxidizers and regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTOs).
