HURST, Texas, May 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On April 18, 2019, Kelye Rouse Brown, Founder and CEO of KRB Business Solutions (KRB) was awarded the Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Enterprise (ACDBE) Award during the 27th NCTRCA Awards Gala. This prestigious award presented by the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA), is just one of five awards that recognize Airport Concessionaires, Disadvantaged, Minority, Small, and Women Business Enterprises (D/M/WBE's) from throughout the North Texas Region.
NCTRCA is a 501(c)(3) with a mission "to provide assistance through education and counseling to applicants throughout the certification process in order to build a certified vendor pool for member entities." They are committed to ensuring that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) are all able to participate in contracting and purchasing opportunities and provide certification assistance and other related services to fulfill their commitment.
This award is a testament to the skills, insight and tenacity Kelye exhibits as a disadvantaged enterprise. She has set the standard for what customer service and company culture should be during her time training and coaching hospitality and service-based leadership teams.
Daniel Solomon, Co-founder and Director of Minute Suites, LLC, shared that KRB has been the ACDBE partner in operating facilities at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) since 2013 and that they hired Kelye as a hospitality consultant to launch their first Minute Suites facility, in Atlanta, in 2009. Mr. Solomon also stated that, "Our business has accelerated with KRB as our partner at DFW. We doubled in size and won seven awards last year for outstanding performance, including top honors for customer service. She's the best."
Kelye has worked in hospitality since 1989, providing support as the HR and Training Director for DC-area hotels. Early in her career, she was afforded the opportunity to work with the largest hotel franchiser and helped small to medium sized hotels make an impact. With her down-to-earth approach, Kelye had great success and decided to start KRB Customized Training Solutions, now KRB Business Solutions, an HR, training and coaching company. Her most notable achievement was becoming a business partner and forming two joint ventures with Minute Suites, LLC – the Traveler's Retreat.
