The Pod Supporter Program offers teens the opportunity to become in-person pod supporters while helping kids in elementary school, especially K-2, adapt to virtual and distance learning while earning hundreds to thousands of dollars per month.
In July 2020, the United States surpassed four million coronavirus cases, according to the COVID Tracking Project. However, data on COVID-19 transmission among children is still limited, and the CDC highlights that more research is needed on transmission from children to household members in the U.S. as they urge schools and families to adapt to new safety guidelines. As such, the CDC is suggesting podding (sometimes called cohorting) for students and staff to remain together while social distancing, with limited mixing between groups.
