Family-owned Sustainable Salmon Farm Joins Forces with Whole Foods Market's Independent Non-Profit to Educate Students, Teachers & Families about Healthy Eating and Sustainable Food Systems
INDRE KVARØY, Norway, Aug. 2, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Kvarøy Arctic (pronounced "Kwa-ray") joins forces with Whole Kids Foundation, a nonprofit established by Whole Foods Market, as their official sponsor and supporter in their mission to improve children's nutrition in the US. The Norway-based, sustainable salmon farm has pledged a $10,000 annual contribution for 2022, with plans on expanding the program in 2023.
The collaboration is based on creating educational content that sparks curiosity among children to learn about sustainable and nutritious food systems.
