L.B. Bohle Opens New Lean Manufacturing Facility in Ennigerloh, Germany
Warminster, PA (PRWEB) December 17, 2013 -- L.B. Bohle, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency pharmaceutical processing and handling equipment, has constructed a new manufacturing facility next to Plant 1 in Ennigerloh, Germany. The facility has created 60 new jobs and increases Bohle’s manufacturing capacity thirty-five percent.
Bohle Plant 3, an 8,530-square-foot production facility with an additional 1,800 square feet of office space, opened on September 21 in Ennigerloh following eleven months of construction. The facility boasts energy efficiency rates 20% higher than required by regulations and will be used initially to manufacture all process machines.
“Plant 3 lays the foundation for further sales growth,” said Company Founder Lorenz Bohle. “Following lean production principles, we will be able to produce far more efficiently in the new plant and deliver products faster than competitors.”
L.B. Bohle invested an estimated $6.8 million in the new facility and has signed an agreement with the city of Ennigerloh that gives Bohle the option to purchase a 12-square-mile piece of land adjacent to Plant 3.
