Long Description
L.E. McCarthy and E. Fuehrer have completed their new book “The Rooster Has A Sore Throat”: a gripping and potent children’s story about a kingdom that has not risen from their slumber, except for Lil Prince and Mary, the fairy. Lil Prince and Mary voyage into the enchanted forest of knowledge to seek help for their problem. They encounter various characters along the way who all are involved, in various ways, with the slumbering kingdom.

The authors write, “All of the horses, all of the cows, and both of the pigs Were all knocked out asleep, then Li’l Prince heard a squeak It was the rooster on the chicken’s coup sneezing through his beak ‘Hi, Mr. Rooster, I wonder, how are you awake?’ The rooster opened up his beak, but not a sound he could make.”

Published by Page Publishing, L.E. McCarthy and E. Fuehrer’s amusing kid’s tale describes, in a rhythmic tone, the suspenseful day Lil Prince and the fairy, Mary experienced. They run into different characters searching for a way to cure their friends and family in the kingdom. They come across the bad crow and evil elf, who are very suspicious. Mary and Lil Prince hope that the snake, witch and dragon will assist them in their grand quest.

This cadenced kid’s book will encourage children to stay positive in adversity. They will learn about helping others and getting along with one another, while being entertained with a magical story and illustrations. Lil Prince and Mary, the fairy, demonstrate that sticking together and getting help from others is the best way to solve problems.

Readers who wish to experience this enchanting work can purchase “The Rooster Has a Sore Throat” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
