The new luxury hotel will introduce 362 guestrooms and suites, destination dining, and expansive indoor-outdoor event spaces
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- La Fontaine, a new 362-room luxury hotel at 2151 Avenue of the Stars, will open in Century City in early 2027. Operated by Davidson Hospitality Group, the property will introduce a new hospitality experience to the neighborhood, bringing together spacious accommodations, destination dining and social spaces, and more than 16,000 square feet of indoor meeting and event space, complemented by more than 13,000 square feet of outdoor event space. La Fontaine's design by Gensler will reflect a contemporary approach to Los Angeles luxury, characterized by light-filled interiors, warm natural materials and fluid connections between indoor and outdoor spaces. The hotel is designed to serve both as a destination for travelers and a gathering place for the surrounding Century City community.
"Century City is one of Los Angeles' most dynamic neighborhoods, and we saw an opportunity to create a hotel that feels distinctly connected to the way people live, work and gather here today," said Ms. Miyoshi, The U.S. Representative of the Sumitomo Realty & Development Group. "With La Fontaine, we wanted to bring a new level of hospitality to the neighborhood while creating a place that feels welcoming and relevant to both travelers and the local community. We are incredibly excited to introduce the hotel and see it become part of the fabric of Century City. We look forward to working with Davidson Hospitality Group as our operational partner and trust their expertise in bringing our vision for La Fontaine to life."
A New Stay in the Heart of Century City
La Fontaine will feature 362 guestrooms and suites, including 150 suites, designed to accommodate leisure travelers, executives, entertainment industry guests and groups. Each guestroom will feature a private balcony and sweeping views that range from the city and surrounding mountains to the Pacific Ocean.
Among the hotel's signature accommodations, Top of Crystal will offer a one-of-a-kind setting with 360-degree views across Los Angeles and will be available for select private bookings. Accessed by a custom private elevator, the suite will feature an expansive living room, private balcony, 10-person dining room and catering kitchen designed for entertaining, with views extending from Santa Monica and the Pacific Ocean to the Wilshire Corridor and Hollywood Hills.
Gensler serves as both lead architect and interior designer for La Fontaine, creating a cohesive design language across the hotel's guestrooms, lobby and public spaces. Upon arrival, guests will enter a dramatic double-height lobby filled with natural light, where residential-inspired details and a warm, restrained material palette create multiple spaces to gather, meet and linger. Throughout the property, expansive windows and fluid connections between indoor and outdoor spaces will connect the hotel to views across Los Angeles.
Located moments from Westfield Century City, the hotel offers easy access to Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Westwood, UCLA and many of Los Angeles' leading entertainment, media and production companies. As Century City continues to evolve beyond its roots as a business district into a destination for dining, shopping, entertainment and luxury living, La Fontaine will introduce a hospitality experience that reflects the neighborhood's increasingly connected and lifestyle-driven character.
A New Dining and Social Destination
La Fontaine will feature a signature restaurant, dedicated cocktail bar and outdoor poolside dining and beverage experience, creating a collection of distinct settings that extend from day to night.
The hotel's restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, drawing inspiration from the social tradition of the American supper club and evolving throughout the day into a lively evening dining experience.
The bar will center on a craft cocktail program featuring house-made ingredients, fresh juices and unexpected flavors, offering an intimate setting for drinks from late afternoon into the evening.
Outdoors, the pool, open-air bar and event lawn will unfold across a lush, open-air setting framed by greenery and a reflecting water feature. Light poolside fare and botanical-inspired drinks will complement the setting, transitioning from a daytime retreat to cocktails at golden hour.
Meetings, Events and Celebrations
La Fontaine will offer more than 16,000 square feet of indoor meeting, event and pre-function space, complemented by more than 13,000 square feet of outdoor event space across the Garden and Event Lawn. A flexible collection of ballroom, executive meeting, boardroom, and private event spaces will accommodate corporate gatherings, entertainment industry events, weddings, and social celebrations.
The hotel's 4,159-square-foot ballroom will be divisible into three salons and complemented by dedicated pre-function space and a green room with private outdoor access for talent, speakers and VIPs. Additional venues will include flexible executive meeting spaces, a dedicated Wedding Garden and an approximately 7,100-square-foot Event Deck, with indoor-outdoor configurations designed to allow events to move seamlessly between settings.
Located at 2151 Avenue of the Stars, La Fontaine is scheduled to open in early 2027. Additional details surrounding reservations and opening experiences will be announced in the coming months.
