"The idea for LAC came when I was traveling and realized the need for a bag that would not only carry my essentials, but also match any outfit I could pack," said creator Laura Newton. "We designed LAC so that with a few simple changes, the same bag could be used every day, with every outfit."
Crafted from 100% high-quality European cowhide, the LAC Convertible Handbag was created with quality, function and style in mind. Each bag is made of three key components: the base, the flap and the strap. All three are interchangeable, so wearers can create the perfect look. With the LAC Convertible Handbag, creating a variety of simple looks with one accessory is easier than ever.
The base of the bag is 17cm in height and 18cm wide and comes in nude, black and pilot (dark navy blue) color options. Inside, the bag is lined with cotton and provides ample storage for all the necessities including credit card slots, a zippered compartment for valuables and a detachable coin purse made from 100% cowhide leather.
Flaps are offered in nine colors: blue fairy, Vamp (pink) Dhalia (purple), Cipria (dusty purple), Lacca (red), Emerald, Nude, Black and Pilot (dark navy). Each flap is secured to the base of the bag by a hidden magnetic button, three light gold snap hooks and a magnetic flap closure.
Straps are offered in the same colors as the base of the bag. A long, adjustable strap provides each woman with the right length to wear comfortably in the crossbody style.
