Lacrosse Unlimited Makes Moves Quickly in 2019
Lacrosse's largest retailer gets bigger
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lacrosse Unlimited, the largest specialty Lacrosse retailer in the world, announced a pair of moves this week. First, the Avon, Conn., store will re-open amid an outpouring of community support. In addition, the company announced the hiring of Sean Haggerty as the Executive Vice President of Institutional Sales.
Avon, Conn., location re-opening
Lacrosse Unlimited is proud to announce the re-opening of its Avon, Conn., location, bringing the company's fleet to 41 stores in 12 states. The company's Avon location was originally the 13th store opened by Lacrosse Unlimited back in 2006, and it was a mainstay in the community for 12 years thereafter. The company closed the location in June of 2018, but after an outpouring of community support and requests for its return the company has decided to re-commit itself to the area for 2019 and beyond.

Haggerty to lead Institutional Sales
Lacrosse Unlimited is proud to announce that Sean Haggerty has been brought on as Executive Vice President of Institutional Sales. Haggerty comes to Lacrosse Unlimited from BEA Partners, where he led external strategic sales and marketing initiatives. Sean's sports background is also impressive and plays to Lacrosse Unlimited's strength. As a player and graduate from Ward Melville and Villanova University, Haggerty is an active alum and the founder and former President of Friends of Villanova Lacrosse. He has been an accomplished youth coach for the past 25 years. Haggerty will leverage his extensive sales and marketing background to bolster the brand's presence in the sporting goods market.
Haggerty will play a key role in accelerating Lacrosse Unlimited institutional and team sales growth, implementing unique strategies and creating a seamless relationship with Lacrosse Unlimited's already robust retail and online presence where customers can interact with the brand, shop, and connect.
