Lajollacooks4u Gears Up for Record-Breaking 2019
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) January 16, 2019 -- January has been a record-breaking month so far for Lajollacooks4u, San Diego’s premiere team building and cooking events company. Not only has the company already hosted several of its signature cooking classes and team-building events, but it is also gearing up to host Fortune 500 companies, Amazon and Janssen Pharmaceuticals, later this month.
Since 2008, Lajollacooks4u’s team-building events have been a favorite for companies of all sizes; so much so that teams often visit multiple times. Each event is completely customized – down to the menu, location and budget – and groups can choose from a variety of popular cooking packages. Packages include Iron Chef-style competitions, pizza-making challenges, tapas cook-offs and more and offer team members an opportunity to collaborate, compete, and ultimately, come together while preparing and enjoying a delicious meal. For groups of 30 people or less, Lajollacooks4u hosts events at its La Jolla-based venue overlooking Mt. Soledad. For larger groups, it is able to conduct the cooking event in a location of the team’s choosing – which are often hotels and conference centers nearby.
To accommodate the increase in volume coming through its doors this year, Lajollacooks4u recently began a complete renovation of its kitchen. With additional workspace, updated appliances and modern lighting and fixtures, the new state-of-the-art kitchen will provide an even more unforgettable cooking and dining experience for the many guests who will visit the venue.
The new kitchen will also serve as the event location for several upcoming philanthropic efforts Lajollacooks4u is passionate about. In March and May, the company plans to collaborate with local-area hunger-relief organizations, the San Diego Food Bank and Kitchens for Good, in order to create awareness and fundraise for those in need.
