Hight-Doland Insurance Agency has debuted the latest charity campaign in a widely recognized community involvement program serving the families of greater Lake Charles. Turning their attention to local underprivileged children in need of a safe home, the agency hopes to raise funds and community awareness for the Boys Village Foundation. The Boys Village Foundation was created over 60 years ago by the Lake Charles Optimist Club to provide local underprivileged boys with a caring home. It has evolved into a forty acre campus with a wonderful recreation complex and a specialized treatment program which touches the lives of boys and girls who are in critical trouble or have been abused and neglected. A holistic approach is utilized by a team of dedicated staff and clinicians with unique expertise. Combining tenderness of care with effective programs, over 100 needy children each year are equipped with the necessary life tools to become healthy and productive members of the community.
