Lake George RV Park Named Top Pet-Friendly RV Park
Lake George, NY (PRWEB) June 10, 2015 -- The Lake George RV Park has always been a ‘pet friendly park’ but they are proud to announce they have been recognized by The Good Sam RV Travel & Savings Guide as one of the Top Pet Friendly RV Parks in the United States!
In August 2014, the Lake George RV Park opened its state of the art bark park. This 2 acre off leash recreational park, formally named Charlie’s Bark Park is one of a kind. It is centrally located within the park for convenient access for all camping guests.
Charlie’s Bark Park features designated areas for small and large dogs, a restroom, comfortable seating areas, an indoor dog washing station, a pet treat vending area, a dog spray foundation, agility events, shaded walking trails and a huge synthetic turf area developed specifically for dogs. This must see amenity is open daily from dawn until dusk during the park’s normal operating season.
Obtaining feedback from our guests is an invaluable resource. And in recent years many of our guests have been requesting a specific area designated for their pets to roam.
President, CEO Dave King states “With the number of people who travel by RV with their pets growing exponentially, we couldn’t think of a better addition to our park. We are thrilled to see the final outcome and are delighted that our 2-legged and 4-legged guests are just as excited as we are.”
The Bark Park is opened exclusively to RV Park guests and it was designed to accommodate the many dogs that frequent the Park each season. “While we can’t permit non-camping guests to use our Bark Park, we now have a select number on pet-friendly on-site RV rentals so everyone has the chance to experience this special canine retreat whether or not you have your own RV.” says Dave King. Staycations that include the family dog are also increasing in popularity these days.
The Lake George RV Park was established by Victor and Jessica King in 1966. The park is still family owned and operated by the King family today. Lake George RV Park is opened seasonally, from the first Friday in May until Columbus Day. The office remains open year-round to fulfill inquiries and reservations.
