Cascade Cove, Lake George RV Park’s new aquatic park officially opened on July 1, 2018. After over 10 years of planning and a rigorous 10-month construction schedule the National award-winning RV Park opened the much anticipated new 1.5-acre aquatic park to record crowds and record summer temperatures. The distinctive design incorporates something for everyone: a huge (83 ft x 36 ft) ADA accessible pool zero-entry heated pool, therapeutic spa cluster to accommodate 38 guests is offered from May – October (even when it is too cool for our outdoor pools) and a family fun themed, spray pad with over 32 interactive spray nozzles, enclosed super slide and drenching dumping bucket. “As a business dedicated to the precious time people take off work to have a vacation, it was critical that we created a new resort aquatic park that didn’t just meet, but exceeded people’s hopes.” explains Dave King, Lake George RV Park President/CEO. “We spent a decade researching and studying aquatic parks and carefully considering our guests’ input collected through surveys to come up with a new aquatic facility that would impress the camping families we have catered to for over 52 years.” The opening of Cascade Cove also commemorates the 100th anniversary of Park founder, Vic King’s birth. Dave King, Vic’s son and successor in leading the business said, “His unique, original vision, and life-long efforts that created this Park from nothing but a vacant wood lot at the base of French Mountain, is celebrated now more than ever with the opening of this exciting new amenity. In 1976, my father completed and opened our East Building recreation center that included the outdoor pools that we have replaced with Cascade Cove. Forty-two years later, we are proud to introduce a new resort aquatic area that in every way symbolizes the grand imagination and passion for quality that my father incorporated in everything he created in his lifetime.”
Cascade Cove will remain open daily through the Adirondack Nationals Car Show weekend in September and reopen in early May next season. Our indoor heated pool and spa cluster will remain open for the remainder of the camping season which concludes on Columbus Day in October.
