Trade and investment is the area in which Language Insight hopes to contribute the most towards as a Northern Powerhouse partner, as 49% of Language Insight's turnover now comes from international trade. The company has achieved an overseas growth rate of 230% over the past 3 years which emphasises how the North is a great place to do business, both in the UK and internationally. This international growth has meant that Language Insight is one of the 29 northern businesses to be honoured with The Queen's Award For Enterprise For International trade 2019.
Language Insight have also invested heavily in the set-up of their head office within the North of England which currently provides numerous job opportunities for local talent within the North West, and global talent all over the world from the likes of Germany, Japan, and China. The language services provider also works alongside local universities, such as Lancaster University, to provide placements for language students who are looking for work experience and graduate jobs.
