Lansdowne Resort is offering a total of six romance-themed packages, but one specifically designed for the Valentine’s Day Weekend. The Lover’s Holiday at Lansdowne hotel package requires a two-night minimum stay and includes a bottle a champagne upon arrival, a four-course dinner at On The Potomac restaurant and daily buffet breakfast in Riverside Hearth. This romantic resort package in Leesburg also includes admission to a special Truffles Making Class hosted by pastry chef Lindsay Cromartie where the guests learn and make their own truffles to take home and share. If guests prefer to stay Saturday and Sunday nights, the four-course dinner can be used to attend a special performance by jazz vocalist Jason Paul Curtis and the Swinglab Trio in the Crooked Billet located adjacent to the hotel at The Golf Club at Lansdowne on February 16 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. This package starts from $599 per couple.
The It’s Date Night package starts from $308 and includes deluxe hotel accommodations, a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries upon arrival, $150 dining credit, buffet breakfast for two and a s’mores kit to enjoy at the resort’s fire pit on the Outdoor Terrace.
Lansdowne Resort is located just outside of DC and within 45 minutes of more than two dozen wineries, so guests can select from two wine tour packages during February. Discover DC’s Wine Country is offered on weekends only, and includes overnight accommodations, buffet breakfast for two, round trip transportation to 868 Estate and Hillsborough Vineyards on Saturday, and to Doukénie and Breaux Wineries on Sunday. The cost of tastings at each winery is additional. The cost of this package starts from $251.
Shared Wines and Treasured Times wine tour package starts from $528 and provides a more intimate wine tour package as a private car for five hours is included along with overnight accommodations, $100 dining credit, and buffet breakfast for two. With this Virginia Wine Country package, guests can choose to visit resort winery partners including Breaux Vineyards, Corcoran Vineyards, Doukénie Winery and Sunset Hills Vineyard.
If lounging with your love in the spa is more appealing, the resort’s 12,000 square foot Spa Minérale is offering a pair of romance packages and special February spa treatments. The Couples Spa Escape starts from $337 and includes overnight stay, a 50-minute Swedish couples massage and a glass of champagne per person to enjoy after the treatment. Or, For The Love of Spa includes overnight hotel accommodations, bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries upon arrival, complimentary round of drinks at Stonewalls Tavern, $100 dining credit per stay, $200 spa credit per stay, and buffet breakfast for two, all starting from $464.
Spa Minérale is also featuring three special romance-inspired experiences throughout February. The Love Me Tender Massage is a 50-minute service using an antioxidant rich olive fruit and grape seed oil blend, infused with notes of cinnamon and cloves. It all comes with a romance themed cocktail for $140 per person.
The Paint the Town Red Velvet pedicure relaxes tired feet and includes a massage using white velvet butter cream, scented with Shea butter. Toes are then painted fiery red and topped off with a red velvet cupcake, all for $75. The My Sweet Butter Cup pedicure is also $75 and uses a butter brulée whole milk soak, sweet scented exfoliation with a special blend of brown sugar, premium aged rum and rice bran oil with a hint of butterscotch. The foot massage uses a peppery caramel body milk lotion. A special romance themed cocktail is served with the service.
