(PRWEB) January 30, 2015 -- Network management and IT asset management in general, are seriously underestimated endeavors which encompass a broad range of responsibilities. Lansweeper makes those day-in-day-out efforts less of a race against time. Having a full inventory and record of all assets, software and changes within a network is the first step. Automated software deployment is another addition to Lansweeper’s capabilities of taking this information and simplifying otherwise time-consuming necessities. Get the info, prevent complications and fix problems. In a nutshell, facilitate efficiency.
The new deployment component allows for the execution of packages containing user configurable steps. From command lines and MSI installs to uninstalling and scripting, remotely managing devices has never been easier. The new feature synergizes with existing ones like the built-in report editor, now usable to define which assets need a package deployed. It allows the same for all new dynamic asset groups based on admin-defined criteria. Schedule everything overnight or run it immediately, Lansweeper gives you the choice.
This release marks another step in the evolution of Lansweeper into an all-round network management solution. Using the solid, network inventory basis, the Lansweeper Team continues to expand the overall functionality and makes IT professionals’ daily work that much easier with each update.
Pricing and availability
