Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show Achieves Another Record Year of Attendance
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) June 10, 2015 -- U.S. Antique Shows recently concluded the 19th annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show with a six percent increase in attendance for all days of the event. The four day tradeshow was held at the Paris Hotel & Casino during Las Vegas’ Jewelry Week, May 28-31, 2015.
“With the Euro at the lowest we’ve seen it in more than a decade, we were cautiously optimistic about the level of attendance and buying we’d see from international markets this year. While there were fewer international attendees, those who did attend came to buy and provided our dealers with some of their strongest sales,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager. “The increase in attendance from the U.S. market helped us achieve our outstanding show results.”
The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show is the largest trade only event serving the antique jewelry and watch industry. Nearly 400 exhibitors grace the show floor each year to display the finest merchandise obtained from all across the globe. No other show in the world brings together nationally and internationally recognized dealers to present their rare and unique collections in one venue.
“The 2015 Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show was my all-time best show, not only for my current business, but for any company I have ever represented in my career. Highlights of the show were significant sales on important consigned diamonds,” says Doug Liebman of Douglas M. Liebman Estate Jeweler.
Gus Davis of Camilla Dietz Bergeron, Ltd. echoed Liebman’s sentiments reporting, “The Las Vegas show is one of the most remarkable shows in the nation because it hosts so many dealers of different backgrounds under one roof. I had extremely strong sales of important signed pieces this year at the show.”
U.S. Antique Shows’ sponsor Polygon hosted a Trading Pavilion at the show on Wednesday, May 27. This pavilion was a huge success with all that were in attendance. Several dealers used this opportunity to get a head start on selling and trade merchandise the day before the show opened.
The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2016. U.S. Antique Shows has big plans that benefit both dealers and attendees alike. The show producer will announce more details once they become available.
