Laser Research Optics has introduced a line of laser lenses and mirrors offered in various focal lengths to match specific steel cutting requirements using 200W to 4kW CO2 cutting lasers.
Laser Research Optics CO2 Laser Lenses and Mirrors are optimized for 10.6 micron 200W to 4kW CO2 cutting lasers, come in plano-convex and meniscus configurations, and can be supplied plain or mounted. Designed to let users select the optimum lens for their cutting application, they are offered in 1” to 2” O.D. sizes with thicknesses ranging from 0.250” to 0.380” and feature focal lengths from 3” to 10” in 0.5” increments.
Well suited for OEMs or field replacement, Laser Research Optics CO2 Laser Lenses are offered in two versions: one with standard A/R coatings that provide less than 0.2% total absorption and another with a proprietary Cool-CutTM coating which absorbs less than 0.15% of laser energy to protect against heat damage. Silicon coated mirrors are also offered.
