Get the facts before you vote using Voter's Edge

“Voting makes our democracy stronger and allows us to voice our opinions on the issues that matter to our communities. Get trustworthy facts about your ballot and vote with confidence on November 6” said LWVCEF President Helen Hutchison.

Only five days left until Election Day. The League of Women Voters of California Education Fund is encouraging voters to get the facts before they vote using their unbiased online guide, Voter’s Edge, to cast their ballots with confidence.

Check out these tips to help Californians participate in the November 6 election:

  • Missed the voter registration deadline? You can still register and vote at the same time at certain special locations - all the way through Election Day. Find locations.
  • Want to review your entire ballot in one place? View your ballot on Voter’s Edge by entering your address to see a personalized page with the contests, endorsements, top contributors, news articles, and videos. Save your choices on your smart phone and bring them with you to the polls.
  • Vote by mail? Make sure you sign your ballot envelope! You can also drop it off at a local polling place. Find yours on Voter’s Edge.

Do you live in Madera, Napa, Nevada, Sacramento, or San Mateo County?

This election you have more days and more ways to vote! All registered voters are automatically mailed ballots returnable by mail, drop box, or at any Vote Center. Neighborhood polling places are now full-service, accessible Vote Centers, many of which offer bilingual assistance. If you missed the registration deadline, you can still register and vote at any Vote Center through Election Day! Find locations and more information.

Remember, you do not have to vote on everything for your vote to count. You can also bring your notes and your child into the voting booth with you. Grab a friend and go vote on November 6!
