Latest Giftcard: Online Time with Doctor
Palatine, IL (PRWEB) November 28, 2013 -- Giftcards are an $80 billion annual business, according to Wikipedia. Aside from common and well-known retailer giftcards, there are some really unusual categories like dogsled cards, design-your-own-shoe cards and subscription men’s undergarment cards. The latest variety is a card which connects individuals electronically to their own designated doctor, from Chicago area tech company MyDocTV.com, Inc.
MyDoc TimeCards debut on Black Friday in downloadable versions on Google’s Play Store and in gift bundles on Indiegogo. The service may be accessed from any telephone, iPhone, Android phone or via Skype and connects patient to doctor through registered nurses in a call center. MyDocTV.com also offers a customized app which claims to “Download Your Own Doctor” into any Android phone, see MyDocTV.com.
MyDoc TimeCards are available in packages of minutes, from 30 to 240 minutes each, starting at a rate of about $1/minute which decreases as the bundle size increases. Huge additional holiday discounts are being offered on Indiegogo for purchase of multiple cards which can be given to anyone in the U.S. as a gift. The user’s designated licensed medical professional receives a sizeable share of the card purchase price and MyDoc pledges 10% of its income to a charity providing assistive technologies for disabled youth.
On Black Friday, a Google Play store button will appear at MyDocTV.com enabling purchase of the TimeCards in downloadable form which can be instantly printed on paper or stored in any Android device. Pre-launch purchases can be made now at Indiegogo.
