Latham Pool Products Supports Anti-Drowning Initiatives During National Water Safety Month

ALBANY, N.Y., May 20, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Latham Pool Products Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of inground residential swimming pools and accessories, is pleased to further its partnership in support of Colin's Hope during National Water Safety Month. Throughout the month of May, Latham will host collaborative social media events, including live discussions and instructional training. Through the vast reach of social media and the internet, Latham hopes to further draw attention to the mission of Colin's Hope.

This is Latham's second year sponsoring the Colin's Hope water safety cards that are distributed to community organizations. The laminated cards feature life-saving tips for safer behavior around water, a link to the Colin's Hope water safety quiz, and a detachable Water Guardian badge. The cards have language options for both English and Spanish speaking families and are available for a $1 donation.

The effort is part of Latham's long-standing support of organizations and technology that promotes water safety. The mission of Texas-based Colin's Hope is to raise water safety awareness to prevent children from drowning through its "Layers of Protection" pillars like education through water safety games, community events, and training programs.
