“LatinX State of the Wine Industry” 2nd Annual Summit Announces Event Schedule and Location for December 1st Event in Napa Valley

Hispanics in Wine, in collaboration with Uncorked and Cultured and The Big Sip, is proud to announce the full schedule of events of their second annual “LatinX State of the Wine Industry” Summit, taking place on December 1, 2022 at RD Winery in Napa, California.

Presented in a hybrid format, with both in-person and virtual participation, this immersive one-day, all-inclusive industry summit serves as an educational vehicle to share the impact of the Hispanic and LatinX contributions to the wine industry. This years’ theme, “Somos Visibles: Unheard Voices en Vino,” will focus on celebrating the diversity, perseverance, and legacy-building resilience of these communities, the backbone of America’s wine industry.

The event will begin at 10am PT and will offer engaging discussions, on-site activations and wine tasting opportunities for wine professionals, consumers, and wine enthusiasts. There will be a series of panels moderated by Gabriela Fernandez, covering the state of the wine industry through the lens of the LatinX/Hispanic wine community, breakout networking sessions, and an immersive walk-around tasting called La Gran Cata. Through professional development panels and a tasting finale celebration, the Latinx Wine Summit invites ALL - Hispanic/LatinX individuals and allies - wine professionals, industry leaders, students, and enthusiasts to participate in cultural exchange and community-building opportunities.

Event sponsors include renowned wine companies and wineries such as Kendall-Jackson, Murphy-Goode, Matanzas Creek Winery, Siduri, Cambria, La Crema, Duckhorn Portfolio, Conundrum Wines, RD Winery, Taub Family Selections, Colangelo & Partners, and New Frontier Wine Company; regional and winery associations Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) and Mexican American Vintners Association (MAVA); and food companies, Graze Provisions, Southside Catering and Kvaroy Salmon, as well as financial institution Silicon Valley Bank.

A portion of the ticket sales from the event will be donated to the newly registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Hispanics in Wine, to fund upcoming 2023 programming focused on supporting the Hispanic & LatinX wine community.
