WASHINGTON, Sept. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Granite Telecommunications, a $1.4 billion provider of communications services to multilocation businesses and government agencies, is pleased to announce that Lauren Grenier, Marketing Director for Granite, is a recipient of the Alliance of Channel Women 2019 ACT Award honoring outstanding volunteers.
Grenier, who is co-chair of the Newsletter Committee and a member of the Communications Committee, was recognized among three ACW member volunteers at the ACWConnect Live! Networking Event during Channel Partners Evolution in Washington D.C. The ACT Awards are issued annually based on nominations from ACW's Board of Directors.
"The success of ACW is a direct reflection of the commitment of its volunteers. Without their support, ACW as an organization couldn't function," said ACW Board Member Michelle Kadlacek, Chair of the Awards Committee and Vice President, Enterprise Channel Partner Program at Spectrum Enterprise. "We can't thank Lauren enough for having gone above and beyond to make ACW a success. ACW's Board of Directors and I are excited to recognize Lauren as an exceptional leader and recipient of the 2019 ACT Award."
Grenier is a rising star in the technology channel and at Granite. She began her career in channel marketing in 2012, quickly rising through the ranks at Granite from social media manager to sales coordinator to channel marketing manager. Her top performance earned her recognition as Employee of the Month out of more than 2,000 team members in 2017. It also earned her the notice of CEO Rob Hale, who in 2018 promoted her to run marketing for the entire Granite organization. Grenier also was named to the prestigious 2019 CRN Women of the Channel list.
