Law Offices of Craig Goldenfarb, P.A. Announces New Port St. Lucie Office
The personal injury law firm, established in West Palm Beach in 2002, has opened a new office to better serve their clients in Port St. Lucie and the greater Treasure Coast, despite a global health pandemic that has rendered commercial office space demand nearly obsolete.
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Sept. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A personal injury law firm has opened a new office in Port St. Lucie to better serve their local clientele, and those in the greater Treasure Coast region including Stuart, Palm Bay, Okeechobee, Vero Beach, and Fort Pierce, despite the severity of the Covid19 pandemic and the toll it's taken on demand for new office space.
The Law Offices of Craig Goldenfarb, P.A., established in West Palm Beach in 2002, chose Port St. Lucie for the home of their second office after much consideration. The decision was made in part on the region's continuing growth in population, but also because the firm employs several individuals who happen to call Port St. Lucie their home, and prior to the pandemic, were forced to endure long daily commutes to the central Palm Beach County office.
Conventional thinking would reason that the midst of a global viral pandemic would not be the optimal time to lease new office space, but his firm doesn't think in conventional terms, says founder Craig Goldenfarb, Esq.
"We've been looking to open a satellite office prior to the Covid19 outbreak, so in the long run, it doesn't much affect our deep desire to provide great legal services to folks in the region," he says. "It also gives our employees peace of mind that when they are ready to get back to a physical office, one will be waiting for them in their neighborhood."
The personal injury law firm employs about sixty lawyers, paralegals, assistants, and support staff, with a newly hired attorney, Marisa Zarzeski, Esq., and her team of one paralegal and one assistant being permanently assigned to the new Port St. Lucie office.
Having bucked the trend by leasing new commercial office space is not to say the firm and its owner isn't taking the virus seriously. The firm embraced remote telework for all of their staff very early on in the pandemic, despite being considered an "essential business" and therefore not being subject to mandatory shutdown orders.
Mr. Goldenfarb knew right away that he had to do the right thing. In order to comply with best practices issued by the CDC and do his part in combating the virus, he decided to make the investment into offering a rapidly organized voluntary remote work program. More than 90% of the firm's employees have been working from home since mid-March, when the majority of Florida's counties began instituting stay-at-home orders.
That is very rare for a law firm, which are typically change-averse and slow-moving. In fact, many law firms are still requiring their employees to work in the office each day.
Even though the new office, located on the second floor of the Seacoast Bank building on W Port St. Lucie Blvd, about two miles east of I-95, is fully operational with networked computers, phones, a stocked kitchen, and tasteful décor, it may not be used by the staff right away. And that's OK, says Mr. Goldenfarb.
"What our new office represents is confidence. It's our confidence that Port St. Lucie and the greater Treasure Coast is a wonderful community with good, hard-working people that deserve competent, experienced, and most importantly, local, legal representation."
It's also confidence in knowing that when the pandemic does finally cease, we want to be one of those staple businesses folks can rely on."
To that end, Mr. Goldenfarb decided to highlight some of those businesses in a new marketing campaign called "Hello PSL", where he and his staff of Port St. Lucie lawyers visited recognizable establishments to let those businesses know that the firm is now in town. These videos can be seen in TV advertising campaigns and online.
It's all part of a bigger effort by the firm: to better serve their clients throughout South Florida, and now beyond.
