Campbell Law is hosting a series of events throughout 2019 to commemorate the law school’s opening and graduating its first class. The school has close ties and an ongoing relationship with the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin. Hoyt Tessener, Senior Litigation Attorney and firm shareholder, is a graduate of Campbell Law, and an adjunct professor teaching jury selection and trial advocacy to third-year law students there. He also serves as chairman of Campbell Law’s Board of Visitors.

Tessener said, “At the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, we pride ourselves on being able to handle and try lawsuits. Campbell Law School is one of the best, if not the best, law schools in training trial lawyers in North Carolina.”

Attorney James S. Farrin also praised Campbell Law and its graduates. Farrin said, “The practice of law is a noble profession. Campbell Law produces lawyers who are rooted in their values and are highly skilled in trial work, much like the kind of attorneys that we seek to attract at our firm.”

Campbell Law’s Dean, J. Rich Leonard, lauded James Scott Farrin’s contributions. “James Scott Farrin has been a fabulous supporter of our law school, and we are extremely appreciative of the firm’s decision to assist us in our 10/40 Gala and SBA Golf Tournament. This opportunity will be immensely beneficial for our law school. It will allow us to share the positive impacts the law school and its graduates have had, and will continue to have, on our community and beyond.”

Like Campbell Law, the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin places an emphasis on giving back to the community.
