Lead Hospitality Group Opens New Tiki Bar In Midtown Atlanta

ATLANTA, April 29, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Scott McCray, owner of the LEAD Hospitality Group, has opened his latest concept, Tiki Tango, located at 57 13th Street in Midtown Atlanta. According to McCray, "with the explosive growth in Midtown Atlanta, we wanted to provide a new and unique lounge and bar experience. Tiki culture is hot right now so it made sense to open a tiki bar."

Tiki Tango features three levels of tiki décor and ambience to go along with tropical craft cocktails in authentic mugs and an island inspired menu from Chef Robert Vaughn. Live DJs and dancing are featured every Friday and Saturday night, and the covered outdoor patio overlooks the Midtown skyline. McCray further stated, "stepping into Tiki Tango is like an instant trip to the islands. All the stresses of the day seem to disappear once you order one of our specialty cocktails like a Zombie or an Island in the Sun."

The inspiration for Tiki Tango came from McCray's travels to other cities, where he saw the energy and excitement generated by tiki bars. McCray enlisted the help of local tiki legend, Frank Simotics, also known as the Tiki Rancher, to create a tropical filled three level lounge. From the thatched hut entrance to the hand carved tiki statues to the mix of colors and textures and sound, Tiki Tango now offers Atlanta and its visitors a new spot to "hang your board or put on your hula skirt!"

Tiki Tango is open Tuesday – Saturday from 5 pm until "late." The menu is offered every night, and DJs and dancing are featured on Friday and Saturday.
