TORONTO (PRWEB) February 14, 2019
Leadbox Inc. ("Leadbox"), a leading online automotive dealership website and technology company, today announced it has entered into a merger with Drive Media Inc. ("Drive Media"), a market-leading automotive dealership advertising and technology company. Leadbox and Drive Media have been working in a highly collaborative way to support Canadian automotive dealerships for the last 2.5 years.
Since early 2018, Leadbox and Drive Media have been collaborating on work with Ford stores in Canada as a certified marketing services vendor. The work as a certified partner for FordDirect and Ford Dealerships, has been a team effort across both companies. “Working together in this way, it became clear that a more formal and long term relationship made perfect sense,” said Rob Barber, Co-Founder of Drive Media.
"Leadbox has been producing outstanding dealership websites and technology for top dealers in the Canadian marketplace for the last seven years," said Ian Cruickshank, President and Chief Executive Officer of Leadbox. "More recently, the teams have found an increased synergy from working with Drive Media. The merger of these two great companies enables us to deliver a better aligned and higher quality experience for today's dealerships. With simplicity as one of our primary focus areas for our dealer partners, it no longer made sense to perpetuate the distraction of two separate brands."
Drive Media’s innovative advertising technology has been rapidly increasing its market share by providing inventory focused advertising, high quality creative messaging, and comprehensive service. Drive provides digital automotive marketing services, including paid, organic, social and creative services. Their proprietary advertising technology is a complementary extension of Leadbox's websites and dealership marketing software.
"I'm proud of what Drive Media has built in the last few years, but we are not even close to reaching our potential," said Rob Barber, co-founder, and Head of Strategy for Drive Media. "Merging with Leadbox is an exciting change for our dealer partners as it will allow them to get more out of both organizations. For example, better integrations to track and manage attribution and a clear line from inventory management to dynamic inventory marketing in search, display and even in video.”
“With this merger, Leadbox is poised to best execute on its growth strategy of a continued focus on customer experience, sales optimization, and customer base penetration,” said Andrés Valera. “We will continue to provide a great service with the addition of new products and services which our dealer partners are asking for,” said Dan Nowak co-founders of Leadbox.
With this merger, Leadbox now has three Canadian offices, Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa, as well as a development and technology office in Venezuela. This broader reach will enable Leadbox to serve its customers across Canada better. The combination of products and services created by this merger will allow the Leadbox team to support marketing efforts from automotive dealerships throughout the car buyers journey, from awareness right through to conversion.
