Leading Hyper-Casual Developer ITI (MarkApp) Partners with Supersonic Studios to Globally Publish Mobile Games by Japanese Developers
Japanese mobile game developers can now publish their games with a top local entity, backed by the industry strength of a global, chart-topping publisher
TEL AVIV, Israel, April 15, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Leading hyper-casual game developer and publisher Supersonic Studios, owned by mobile marketing company ironSource, announced today that it is partnering with experienced hyper-casual developer ITI (MarkApp), to help Japanese developers publish their games in the international market. The joint venture combines the strong local know-how of ITI (Markapp) who will run the sales and management activities, together with the in-depth knowledge of Supersonic, who will bring their UA and monetization expertise.
"Partnering with Supersonic is the next natural step for us," explains Kosei Saegusa, CEO at MarkApp. "We were introduced to the parent company, ironSource, back in 2019 when we switched our game Golf Nest to their mediation platform. Following an unprecedented international success, we launched Rescue Cut a few months later and saw 100 million downloads. We have experienced first-hand what it means to partner with a true industry leader. The depth of the team's expertise in marketing and monetization is incomparable, and the care and attention they dedicated to growing my apps was outstanding. We are excited to help other Japanese developers see their games achieve international success by choosing the only publisher worth partnering with - Supersonic."
The partnership brings together two forces: MarkApp is Japan's most successful hyper-casual developer and Supersonic is the fastest growing publisher in 2020. Supersonic recently launched three games in one month (Sort it 3D, Ultimate Disc and Join Clash), and all of them reached the top three in the U.S charts, while two of them also reached number one.
"We understand how difficult it can be for local developers to achieve success in the US and other global markets, and together with MarkApp our goal is to help them overcome that," says Nadav Ashkenazy, GM of Supersonic Studios. "We believe in a true partnership between all three parties, which includes a high level of transparency and a long-term commitment to success."
