PayRange Inc., maker of the leading in-app mobile payment service for automated retail, launches PayRange Air, a service designed for food trucks, concessions, and other similar small ticket merchants for everyday purchases, expanding usage opportunities for its over one-million prefunded users.

While card acceptance is prevalent at everyday merchants, research highlights that 60% of transactions under $10 are still conducted with cash even when card payment options are available, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Another key feature is the marketing platform, which includes capabilities to run promotions as well as a turnkey loyalty program, which Patel says will benefit both end users and merchants.

“Instead of waiting for consumers to arrive, the platform allows small merchants to reach their existing consumers with promotions to drive traffic and increase repeat business,” says Patel. “The system is designed to be simple to implement and use. It takes just a few clicks, and in some cases just a checkbox to activate and deploy a marketing campaign.”

The PayRange Air product leverages the company’s expertise in mobile payments. In addition to its Bluetooth based payment scheme, PayRange Air is also available with a QR Code scan. Either approach provides a smooth, easy, and fast consumer experience.
