Goldman Sachs executive brings deep financial advisory experience with software technology companies
ATLANTA, May 9, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- LeaseQuery, a leading provider of lease accounting software, has hired Justin Smith to serve as chief financial officer (CFO). Justin brings with him nearly two decades of senior leadership experience and will be responsible for LeaseQuery's financial strategy and operations.
Prior to joining LeaseQuery, Justin was a senior member of Goldman Sachs' technology investment banking team, where he helped lead the firm's expansion into the Southeast. He was a member of the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) coverage group, focusing on a range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, debt financings and other strategic alternatives.

In addition to Justin's role at Goldman Sachs, he concurrently served as a founding advisory board member at Engage Ventures, an Atlanta-based venture capital fund, where he sat on the investment selection committee. Justin holds a BA in molecular neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
