BOSTON, Dec. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lee Utke joins The Roseview Group as a partner helping to lead the firm's Corporate Advisory practice.

Utke is recognized as a leader in the industry for his ability to look beyond brick and mortar to see key macro opportunities associated with large, complex real estate portfolios. He delivers accretive financial performance and operational flexibility by drilling down to asset-specific opportunities and applying appropriate solutions such as changes in financial and occupancy structure, changes in entitlement, or repositioning assets for a higher and better use. With analytical skill, as well as the ability to execute strategy in the field, Utke brings a true "roll up his sleeves" approach and delivers embedded equity opportunities across industry segments.

Prior to joining The Roseview Group, Utke led global real estate operations at Whirlpool Corporation, managing a portfolio of more than 90 million square feet across 900 locations worldwide. During a 27-year tenure at Whirlpool, Utke developed an enterprise delivery platform integrating all real estate, construction, workplace design, and facility management activities into the company's operational and financial strategies. He also led real estate integration of five major corporate acquisitions.
Prior to Whirlpool, Utke led the commercial development activities at ITT Land Corp., where he was responsible for developing and leasing commercial and industrial properties for a 42,000-acre planned community. He also worked on the corporate planning team for the Walgreens Company.
Throughout his career, Utke has held various leadership positions in local and regional economic development agencies, and served as a Trustee of Harbor Shores, an entity established to spur redevelopment in Southwest Michigan. The project included development of a 500-acre brownfield site into multiple residential neighborhoods, a hotel, a marina, and a Jack Nicklaus course that hosts biannual Senior PGA championships.
Lee received his B.S. Degree at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. He has a long been active in CoreNet, where he served on the global board for five years including a term as global chairman. Currently, Lee is a board member of Southwest Michigan First Corporation.
