Legendary Mob Boss Bringing Story To Verve Church
Mafioso Michael Franzese to share stories from the streets
LAS VEGAS, March 07, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On Sunday, March 24, and Monday, March 25, former mafia kingpin Michael Franzese will speak during weekend services at Verve Church, 7850 Dean Martin Drive, Las Vegas.
The son of the Colombo crime family underboss, Franzese went on to become one of the biggest money-makers in organized crime history. Generating nearly $10 million every week, he orchestrated far-reaching scams that eventually caught the attention of Federal prosecutors.
"Everyone hears about the crimes I've committed," Franzese says, "but a lot of people don't know what happened next. It was life-changing, and I'm excited to share it with the people of Verve."
Vince Antonucci, Lead Pastor of Verve Church, believes Franzese's story will resonate with locals. "A lot of people come to Vegas to get away from what has happened in their past. They feel like they've done things that ruin their chances of a good future. I'm excited for them to hear Michael Franzese share his journey, because they will find it so relatable," Antonucci explains.
Service times at Verve Church are 9:00am, 10:30am, and Noon on Sunday, and 7:00pm on Monday. All services are free and open to the public.
Founded in 2010, Verve calls itself a church for people who don't like church. Learn more at vivalaverve.org.
