In this newly created role, Taparia will oversee new market development, strategic partnerships, and day-to-day business operations for the company's AI-powered workforce management solutions.
Since starting in 2016, Legion Technologies has continued to rapidly expand as more and more enterprises rely on the company's proprietary technology for workforce management including highly accurate demand forecasts and increased employee engagement through Legion's mobile app.

Taparia brings 15 years of experience in strategy, operations and finance to the company. He was most recently the Vice President of Business Operations at Poynt, a payments hardware and software company building a commerce platform serving over 100,000 businesses worldwide. He joined Poynt as the company's first non-technical hire and seventh employee, responsible for scaling the company's business and operations globally. Prior to Poynt, he was a venture investor at Matrix Partners and Scale Venture Partners. He started his career as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch.
