WASHINGTON, Nov. 05, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Who can say Fa-la-la-fel five times fast? With menu names that are as fun as the items are flavorful, LEON introduces new holiday options in time for Thanksgiving. The new menu selections bring savory and sweet flavors together in non-traditional ways with "Naturally Fast Food" offerings that are certainly reasons to give thanks.
From the fan-favorite Holiday Wrap that provides a full holiday meal in each bite, to the Vegan Fa-la-la-fel Wrap, LEON brings the hearty flavors the holiday season offers to any guest's meal, day or night. Also offered is the new breakfast item, Pigs on a Blanket, which is a twist on the conventional pigs in a blanket, consisting of link sausage nestled on a bacon blanket with cranberry sauce and spinach. These items will be available beginning November 15 for a limited time through year end.
"The Evening Standard claims the Vegan Fa-la-la-fel Holiday Wrap will 'knock your Christmas stockings off' so we can't wait to share this dish and other seasonal options with our D.C. guests," said Glenn Edwards, Managing Director of LEON.
LEON's approach to fast food is based around the proven health benefits of the Mediterranean diet, aimed at creating fast food that not only tastes good, but makes you feel good after eating. With a menu drawing on the Mediterranean food culture, LEON has been built on using ingredients that are good for you, affordable, and kind to the planet. All-day menu items range from $4.95 to $9.95 with breakfast being served until 11am and lunch/dinner served from 11am onwards.
New menu options include:
- Holiday Wrap: Shredded turkey, bacon, pork & sage stuffing, spinach, cranberry sauce and sage & onion mayo on a khobez wrap.
- Vegan Fa-la-la-fel Wrap: Baked sweet potato falafel, cranberry sauce, sage & onion vegan mayo, arugula, toasted pine nuts and crispy onions on a khobez wrap.
- Pigs on a Blanket: Link sausage, bacon, cranberry sauce and spinach on a whole wheat muffin.
But the holiday cheer doesn't stop there; the Holiday Coffee Blend and Blossom & Spice Cider, both organic, make for a great addition to any meal or treat on its own.
